Juncheng Yang

Co-Founder and Director

Juncheng Yang is an urban designer and consultant with interest in the potential links between design, technology, and economic and real estate development. He has worked extensively on mid- and large-scale urban research & design projects that integrates smart city technologies, economic development, policy research, and design and planning strategies. Previously, Yang works as a project manager at Rafi Segal A+U, where he led a strategic planning project for a high-profile science park in Shanghai, China. At MIT Real Estate Innovation Lab (REIL), Yang worked extensively on assessing the economic value of design attributes of buildings in Manhattan, New York. At MIT Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism, he was actively involved in a research/design project in Sao Paulo and Beijing. Yang holds a Master of Science degree in Urbanism from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Regional and Urban Planning from London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Architecture, magna cum laude and with distinction, from Rice University.
