We measured the impacts of the four external architectural design features. Our contribution is to take the features of design as outlined by the design community and measure their value in realized buildings. We find, surprisingly, that some architectural features do differentiate, such as setbacks and podium extrusions. But important design features sometimes do not become price differentiators, such as diagonal intersections.
