The Altay Jewel Art Gallery takes inspiration from the unique form of jewels, solid composites whose surface is made of triangular and quadrilateral surfaces. The 8844.92㎡ site is divided into three major program areas: (1) gallery space, (2) art studio space, and (3) short-term rental units for fellow artists and tourists. The whole site is beautifully orchestrated as a single composition: the landscape is a continuous form which seamlessly integrate different pieces of architecture, unifying the different programs as a fluid choreographed experience.
